I love my my new color. It's purple when the sunlight hits it but dark brown when light doesn't hit it. After we put the direct dye color in my hair, I waited a few days before I washed my hair so that the color would last longer. My white tub and shower walls where purple. I had to scrub my shower walls and soak the tub with bleach water. Unless you have a black shower or tub I highly suggest that you come back to salon to have your 1st hair wash after putting direct dye in your hair.
